The tournament kicks off in the United Arab Emirates on Thursday, October 3, with host nation Bangladesh taking on Scotland at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
Bangladesh captain Nigar Sultana was at the forefront as the ten national captains gathered in Dubai to celebrate the tournament's beginning, which will conclude in the same city on October 20.
“We're lucky to be part of an event that brings joy to fans, families, and friends,” Sultana said.
“I expect a strong turnout, especially since there’s a large Bangladeshi community in Sharjah. Events like this tend to draw even more supporters, and I believe we’ll have great backing.”
